What a few busy months I’ve had with the horses, staying away at Hartpury Petplan Championships, Sheepgate Area Festivals and then the most recent Senior Home International at Vale View. Next up we will be heading to Arena UK in October to compete in 3 classes at the Petplan Area Festival Championships on Swatch.
We have all been there… trotting up the centre line… halt, salute… lets go… then the next bit… left or right at A… OMG… where am I heading, I can’t phone a friend… or ask the judge (insert inner monologue including many swear words here)…
I didn’t write a New Year summary of 2015. It was an odd year of uncertainty and worry, trying to get divorced and failing dismally. Just a whole lot of stress on all levels. I stepped into 2016 hoping to be single and back to my old self with the flick of a switch, all those New year resolutions poised and primed. Sadly, it took until February to finally get the divorce settled and signed off and with it a whole load of getting ‘me’ back…
Having reviewed almost everything from tack, to rugs, bandages and all manner of breeches, boots and riding shirts, it was a little different to be sent underwear to review for my blog…
These breeches came as a welcome Christmas present from my OH as I don’t actually own any winter breeches and have been wearing thermals for months – it’s cold on our farm! I’ve been wearing my new Pikeur breeches for the last few days in some very cold, damp and windy conditions; both riding and on the yard.
